Foot Facts

Our feet are made up of 26 small bones, more than 160 ligaments and a vast networks of blood vessels, nerves and muscles. Each pair are also busy producing almost a cup of sweat daily by way of a quarter of a million sweat glands. These days many of us have devices counting our steps on a daily basis but have you done the math to see just how how far your feet will take you? The average person walks approximately 4 miles each day, which averages to about 115,000 miles in a lifetime. Given all the stress that our feet carry it is not surprising that nearly 70% of the people in the U.S. will suffer foot pain during their lifetime.

Foot problems come from many sources, physical stress, improper shoe, muscular imbalances, disease, neglect, trauma, etc. If your feet are cramping your lifestyle, professional care is in order. We know that good foot health can enhance your daily existence and improve your quality of life.
